Having parsed my life in fractions between major cities in Florida, California, North Carolina, Oregon, and Washington, I have come to be enamored with a constant state of oscillation; from physical modes to the psychological, I have learned that I simply cannot be still. The eldest child of a mathematician and an aeronautical engineer, I staggered in to adulthood with the intent to study astrophysics—which begat an interest in computer science, which yielded an academic career in the arts, which engendered an impassioned pursuit of accessible design. My path has not been straight, but it has been true.
A magna cum laude BFA graduate of the University of West Florida, with an Associates in Engineering from Northwest Florida State College, I have exhibited various pieces in Chicago's Zolla/Lieberman Gallery, UWF’s Semi-Annual Pop-Up Exhibitions from 2017 through 2019, in The Art Gallery's STEAM Exhibition and Colloquium and TAGGED, in the Mattie Kelly Art Gallery, at Barehand Collective, in the Pensacola Museum of Art, at the Hawthorne Theater's Pancakes and Booze pop-up exhibitions in Portland, OR. Several works of mine have also been published in the The Blackwater Review and The Troubadour. My first solo exhibition was held at Guardino Gallery in Portland in the summer of 2022.
In 2019, I was offered an artist's residency with the North Cascades Institute in Washington. I placed first in the 2016 Arnie Hart Juried Student Exhibition at the Mattie Kelly Art Gallery and in the 2019 TAGGED Juried Exhibition at The Art Gallery.
In my own time, I paint, write fantasy and poetry, read and draw comics, avidly watch anime and psychological thrillers, play RPGs with my partner and board games with my friends biweekly, rollerblade through the streets, garden on the backyard homestead, read all the science fiction and fantasy I can get my hands on, sew my own clothes, and strive to beat my partner at the NYT Mini Crossword while I work full-time as a Visual Designer in the Pacific Northwest.
